Jannik is the founder and CEO of LuggageHero, a growing network of affordable luggage-storage sites. He launched the service in 2016, inspired by a personal need to conveniently store luggage while traveling in cities.

He is a graduate of the Copenhagen Business School and a nominated entrepreneur of the year 2018 and 2019 by Ernst & Young. Before starting LuggageHero, he helped launch several Danish tech startups, including an event platform for triathletes, as well as a fitness and nutrition portal.

They leverage their continuously growing partner network of retail stores, coffee shops and even hotels where you can drop off and pick up your luggage.

Jannik started LuggageHero in his hometown of Copenhagen, rapidly expanded to London and New York City, and now operates in more than 46 cities in North America and Europe. Since LuggageHero launched, its customers have racked up over 3,5 million hours
of bag storage at more than 1000 drop-off points.

The company has raised more than $5 million in funding to help expand its operations. It was named one of PhocusWire’s Hot 25 Startups for 2019, as “one to watch” in 2020 by ShortTermRentalz, part of International Hospitality Media Limited, and was country winner in Tech5 (TNW) 2020.
